Why Do I Do I Feel, Think and Do?
The Clifton StrengthsFinder internet questionnaire was launched in 2001 to help us more accurately identify and explain our dominant thinking patterns and explain why we feel, think and do ‘what we do’ along with ideas on how best to exercise them. This was based on decades of research by its innovator, Dr Don Clifton and his team at The Gallup Organization looking for the best in each person. The StrengthsFinder ‘theme ranking’ clearly identifies each person’s uniqueness and highlights what this could mean in terms of our potential, what we can contribute and what our needs are. The activity also addresses and suggests where our fault lines and frustrations might be!
From the CEO to the Front Line
We have introduced over three thousand people to StrengthsFinder in vastly different circumstances in the different parts of World including top athletes to those with significant physical disabilities. This has provided us with highly meaningful information which helped greatly to build the ‘Value the Person – Story Building’ experience.

We have strongly encouraged each person who completed StrengthsFinder to share their profile with their colleagues, family and friends. We discovered that this can have a huge impact in helping people to understand and value the differences between themselves and others.Understanding their StrengthsFinder themes can contribute significantly in the widest aspects of human relationships from working in a team in the workplace and our roles within a family and wider society.
The Clifton StrengthsFinder Story
Today over 25 million people throughout the World have completed the activity. Most participants recognised their ‘Strength Themes’ but often haven’t fully appreciated them as highlighting their potential.
What we found was that by making ‘Experiencing being Valued’ the overarching theme we discovered a glue that makes ‘Story Building’ such a powerful activity in a ‘serious fun’ way!
